We hatch out silkie chicks every week at VJP Poultry, all year long. March and April are extremely busy months for us and we are overwhelmed with people wanting chicks. We would advise that you delay your chick purchases until later in the season when we have more selection available to you. We are NPIP, Pullorum tested and a Minnesota state inspected hatchery. No Shipping/Pick up only. We are open by appointment only. We sell one week old unsexed silkie chicks. We also sell four month old female silkie pullets in a variety of colors. Black, White, Grey, Splash, Blue and Partridge. If you are not allowed to have roosters where you live I would recommend that you consider a four month old female silkie pullet.
Preferred payment is cash but we also use Venmo. Contact me through Private Message on Facebook to inquire about availability of silkie chicks and silkie pullets. You must have an appointment to pick up chicks. We can only hold birds for the time it takes for you to drive to our place. A mask is required to enter the chick room.

We are currently SOLD OUT of one week old silkie chicks for the week of 3/26. We have had quite a few smaller hatches due to the recent cold spell. The following hatches will continue to grow larger as the weather warms. We put the new one week olds up for sale on Thurs. I set up appointments for Thursdays. Any chicks that are left will appear on the Friday posting. One week old silkie chicks are $15 each.
